  • Communicated with new students and their guardians to give information about the University of Mary Washington and calm their worries
  • Led a group of 10-18 students in icebreakers to create connections between them
  • Took initiative to organize and preform background work that made the Orientation program run

Aubade Art and Literary Magazine

  • Led submissions meetings with a group of 10-15 students to vote on 50-75 art and literary works per semester to put in the club literary magazine at the University of Mary Washington
  • Created 2-4 layout spreads with art, poetry, and prose per semester in Adobe InDesign
  • Collaborated with 4-7 staff members to improve the accessibility of the magazine by creating online editions with audio recordings
  • Communicated with artists and writers about their acceptance or rejection into the magazine


The Rappahannock Review Literary Magazine

  • Nonfiction Design Editor (October 2024 – December 2024)
  • Collaborated with two small teams to create the 12.1 Issue of the digital literary magazine, The Rappahannock Review, for college credit
  • Discussed and voted on nonfiction pieces to put in Issue 12.1 along with 4 other people on the Nonfiction team
  • Built and debugged the magazine website along with 2 other people on the Design team using WordPress and Elementor
